Arm Lift
Also known as brachioplasty, an arm lift reshapes the under portion of the
upper arm, from the underarm region to the elbow. An arm lift Reduces excess
skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow,Reshapes your arm to result
in smoother skin and contours ,Results in a more toned and proportionate
appearance.
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that reshapes the
under portion of the upper arm, from the underarm region to the elbow. The
procedure is performed to Reduce excess sagging skin that droops downward,
Tighten and smooth the underlying supportive tissue that defines the shape
of the upper arm,Reduce localized pockets of fat in the upper arm region.
Liposuction(Body Contouring)
Liposuction is designed to improve the contour of specific areas of the
body, often those resistant to diet and exercise efforts. Areas commonly
treated with this technique include hips, thighs, buttocks, abdomen and
neck. Using tiny incisions, excessive fatty tissue is suctioned from the
body, enhancing contour lines. This is generally an office procedure and
multiple areas can be treated at one time.
Face Lift
Rhytidectomy is a procedure designed to restore youthful appearance to the
face and neck. As such, it will remove many wrinkles and make those
remaining much less apparent. Extra skin is removed and the facial contour
is transformed to that of a younger person. A face lift is generally an
office procedure and is done with local or general anesthesia.
Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty is a low risk surgical procedure designed to remove extra
skin and fatty deposits ("bags") that make a person look tired.
The result is a rested and rejuvenated appearance. This procedure is
generally done in the office and can be done alone or in conjunction with a
face lift under local or general anesthesia.
Nasal Reshaping
Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure designed to improve the nasal size,
shape, and contour. The nasal skeleton is remolded and the soft tissue is
adjusted to provide facial harmony and a pleasing nasal silhouette. Septal
deviation and associated airway obstruction are corrected. This procedure is
generally done in the office under local or general anesthesia.
Breast Augmentation
Breast implant surgery is an operation designed to make breasts fuller and
firmer, and to improve their shape. Implants with a low potential for
scarring are inserted, their size chosen to match each individual patient's
wishes. Recovery is prompt, and bruising and swelling are generally very
transient.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is a procedure designed to reduce in size breasts that are
heavy and/or oversized. It relieves back and neck strain associated with
overdeveloped breasts and achieves a normal breast contour. This procedure
is performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Recuperation
is approximately two weeks.
Breast Lift
Mastopexy is a procedure designed to improve sagging breasts. This
procedure is often sought by women whose breasts have been changed by
pregnancy. Excessive skin is removed, the nipple position is optimized, and
a youthful contour is restored to the breast.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction is designed to create a new breast for patients who
have undergone a mastectomy. This can often be accomplished by using the
patient's own tissue, or alternatively an implant, to fashion a new breast.
A remarkably natural looking breast can be achieved. The new breast restores
symmetry to the chest and liberates the mastectomy patient from the
drawbacks of a prosthesis. This is a procedure done in the hospital under
general anesthesia and requires a brief hospital stay. Recuperation depends
on which procedure is performed.
Tummy Tuck
Abdominoplasty is a procedure designed to improve and rejuvenate the
abdominal contour. Excessive skin and fat are removed and muscles are
tightened, helping to create a flat abdomen. This procedure frequently may
be performed on an outpatient basis.
Dermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is used to clarify aging skin, improve dull or uneven
skin color, soften roughness, and smooth mild acne and minor skin
abnormalities. Microdermabrasion is also effective in reducing fine lines, "crow's
fee", age spots and acne scars. Microdermabrasion is a safe, effective
way to rejuvenate the skin on your face, chest and even your back. The
microdermabrasion technique exfoliates and gently resurfaces the skin,
promoting the formation of new smoother, clearer skin while it stimulates
the production of skin cells and collagen.
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical procedure, with minimal discomfort,
virtually no side effects or recuperation period, is effective on all skin
colors and types, requires no anesthetic and is excellent for skin sensitive
to chemical procedures.
Chemical Peel
Chemical peels can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even
out skin imperfections, fade dark spots, and assist in clearing acne and
blemishes. A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth
the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers.
Chemical peels vary in type and strength so it is important that you work
with a trained medical professional to determine the depth of the peel that
will be right for your skin.
There are several types of chemical peels. We use trichloroacetic acid
(TCA) alone or in combination with alphahydroxy acid (AHA) or salicylic acid
depending on the strength needed for your face. We also do chemical peels
with Vitamin A, which are very effective in treating sun-induced wrinkles
and pigmentation associated with aging skin. It smoothes fine lines and is
great for dull skin. Glycolic chemical peels work very well on acneic skin.
Sex Reassignment Surgery
Sex Reassignment Surgery ( SRS ) or Gender Reassignment Surgery ( GRS ) and
Facial Feminizing Surgery ( FFS ) are the two major surgical operations
frequently sought by male-to-female ( MtF, or M2F ) transsexual ( TS )
patients suffering from gender dysphoria. These represent key elements in
their life-changing transition.
Chin Surgery
Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape
the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the
bone. Many times a plastic surgeon may recommend chin surgery to a patient
having nose surgery in order to achieve facial proportion, as the size of
the chin may magnify or minimize the perceived size of the nose. Chin
surgery helps provide a harmonious balance to your facial features so that
you feel better about the way you look.
Thigh Lift
A thigh lift reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases
fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the
thighs and lower body.If fitness and weight loss efforts have not achieved
your goals for a body that is firmer, more youthful-looking and more
proportionate to your overall body image, a surgical thigh lift may be right
for you.
This surgery reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases
fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the
thighs and lower body.
Brow Lift
Also known as a forehead lift, a brow lift minimizes the creases that
develop across the forehead, or those that occur high on the bridge of the
nose; improves what are commonly referred to as frown lines; and repositions
a low or sagging brow.A brow lift may sometimes be performed using an
endoscope (surgical video device) and special instruments placed through
small incisions made within the hairline. This allows the tissue and muscle
beneath the skin to be repositioned, altered or removed, correcting the
source of visible creases and furrows in the forehead.
Correction of a low-positioned or sagging brow may be made with or without
the use of an endoscope through incisions at the temples and in the
scalpThis technique may be done in conjunction with incisions hidden within
the natural crease of the upper eyelids to eliminate frown lines between the
brows, on or above the bridge of the nose.
Hair Transplant
Hair loss is primarily caused by a combination of aging, a change in
hormones, and a family history of baldness. As a rule, the earlier hair loss
begins, the more severe the baldness will become. Hair loss can also be
caused by burns or trauma, in which case hair replacement surgery is
considered a reconstructive treatment,
Hair transplantation involves removing small pieces of hair-bearing scalp
grafts from a donor site and relocating them to a bald or thinning area.
Grafts differ by size and shape. Round-shaped punch grafts usually contain
about 10-15 hairs. The much smaller mini-graft contains about two to four
hairs; and the micro-graft, one to two hairs. Slit grafts, which are
inserted into slits created in the scalp, contain about four to10 hairs
each; strip grafts are long and thin and contain 30-40 hairs.
Ear Surgery
Ear surgery, or otoplasty, is usually done to set prominent ears back
closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears. For the most part,
the operation is done on children between the ages of four and 14. Ears are
almost fully grown by age four, and the earlier the surgery, the less
teasing and ridicule the child will have to endure. Ear surgery on adults is
also possible, and there are generally no additional risks associated with
ear surgery on an older patient.Ear surgery usually takes about two to three
hours, although complicated procedures may take longer. The technique will
depend on the problem.
With one of the more common techniques, the surgeon makes a small incision
in the back of the ear to expose the ear cartilage. He or she will then
sculpt the cartilage and bend it back toward the head. Non-removable
stitches may be used to help maintain the new shape. Occasionally, the
surgeon will remove a larger piece of cartilage to provide a more
natural-looking fold when the surgery is complete.
Buttock Lift
Buttock lift surgery is done to improve poor skin tone in the buttock area.
It helps improve loose or excess skin, stretch marks and cellulite. Buttock
lift surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia so that the
patient is asleep and feels no pain during the operation.
There are different buttock lift methods and procedures that can be
employed based on the needs of the patient. Liposuction, implants, and lifts
are all used to sculpt the buttock region into a desired shape. During a
buttock lift, excess skin is removed and the buttock is raised to a higher
position on the body. In combination with a lift, some patients desire an
augmentation that utilizes implants. After a buttock lift, patients are
fitted with a body garment that aides in the healing process and helps skin
adapt to its new contours.
Neck Lift
A neck lift is a procedure to eliminate the sagging skin from our neck and
tighten the skin that remains resulting in a more elegant profile and
youthful appearance.
A neck lift provides a solution to people searching to improve the
appearance of the neck and under the jaw line. This is designed to reduce
the look of loose, sagging skin. Keep in mind that this procedure will not
rejuvenate the facial area. A neck lift can be performed alone, or in
conjunction with other procedures including face lift and chin augmentation.
Combined, these procedures can provide a complete facial makeover. A neck
lift can even give some people the appearance of lost weight.
