PrimesBut there is at present no such legal recourse that can be taken in cases of unsatisfactory treatment and problems for patients across the international boundaries. Since, all medical treatments and procedures have an element of risk and hazards and uncertainties, the patients and medical tourists should always be aware of the medical legal guidelines and issues involved. The issue of medical tour to india does not have any international legal regulations as such yet.

The medical tourist nowadays can avail the medical visa that is issued by the Indian Government .The visa is given for the period of treatment and can be extended for over a year. It also enables the patient to come to India three times a year and friend or relative can also accompany the patient on the medical tour to India.
